Summary

This study aims to observe the oviduct weight and length of ewes lambing in February and September. The ewes of both groups (n = 24) were killed (n = 3) on days 7, 17, 25, and 34 after parturition. Having weighed the left and right oviduct of ewes lambing in February and September, we did not record any significant differences (P > 0.05) on days 7, 17, and 25 p. p. However, the difference in the mean weight of both oviducts in the ewes observed (February, September) was significant (P < 0.01) on day 34 postpartum. The mean oviduct length in ewes lambed in February and September was not statistically significant (P > 0.05).
